Can I be a boat owner and a service provider with the same account?

Yes, once you sign up either a Boat Owner or a Service Provider, you will be able to add additional roles once your account is set up.  By going to the More button located at the bottom right hand corner of the app you can choose to “Add/Change Role” which will allow you to set up an additional role.  This will also allow you to change from one role to another.  

How do I view information about my boat if I am logged in as a service provider?

You will need to go to the More button located at the bottom right of the app and select “Add/Change Role” this will show all roles you are signed up as.  Select your Boat Owner Role and you will be switched to this role.  Once you are in the Boat owner role you will be able to view all information regarding your boat(s) and all the projects associated with each boat. 

Who in my company can see and/or accept/decline projects?

All Employees, Service Managers are able to see, accept, decline and create quotes. 

Who in my company can quote a project?

Any Employee or Service Manager can quote, accept, decline or complete a project. 

Who in my company can edit Company information?

Only the Service Provider Manager and the Service Provider Owner roles are able to edit the company information. 

How do I get paid?

Once the project has been completed and the invoice has been paid by the customer it will take 3-5 business days for the money to be transferred to your Company bank account via our secure payment system Stripe. 

How do I ensure that a boat owner knows we have completed and verified the work?

We suggest that you use photos, video and/or text description which can all be done via the chat functions within the project.  We suggest that you agree on a communication plan with the end customer.   

What is a verified review?

A verified review is a review by a customer who has completed a project with the Service Provider

Can I review the boat owner?

Yes, once a project is completed you will be able to rate the boat owner with our 5-anchor rating system. 

What do I do when I have to delay the service due to weather or an emergency service?

We suggest that you use the chat function and/or a communication channel that is agreed with the end customer.  Keep in mind that once you leave the app the communication will not be documented in the app.
